Goals of the
Centenary Celebrations

To commemorate Golf in the Sta. Barbara Golf Course thru,

A reaffirmation of the historical heritage that is the Sta. Barbara Golf Course, by

1. establishing the "oldest existing" identity of the course;
2. re-involving the institutions of old which had links with the early Sta. Barbara Course;
3. involving the present institutions that support present day golf in the Philippines;
4. attracting a new British community interest to the Golf Course they originally founded;

The promotion of values inherent in the sport of amateur golf, such as;

1. sportsmanship and camaraderie;
2. health and fitness advocacy;
3. nature and environment conservancy and protection;
4. family oriented ness

The promotion of Iloilo as an attractive and progressive tourist and business destination in the Philippines.
