Sta. Barbara Centenary-Related Activities

1. Grand Centenary Commemorative Tournament (4 days) on January 11-14, in time for the Annual Iloilo Dinagyang Festival; Special invitation and recognition during the formal Commemorative Rites in the Sta. Barbara Golf Course Centenary Dinner Program, attended by special guests and invited dignitaries, sponsors and benefactors of the Sta. Barbara Golf Course. The Fil-Anglo Friendship Day may be held at this time should negotiations with the British Embassy succeed.
2. The 1^st National Family Tee in April, a Father (or mother), spouse and child golf tournament (a first of its kind) just prior to the Samsung National Jungolf tournament.
3. Acacia Cup; Centenary Club Match-Play (Dewar) Tournament Launching Party (Pairs and Bids) in July 7, and continuing through the next 5 months. This tournament is long a tradition in the history of the Golf Club. The results will be closely followed in Sports Media from start to finish.
4. 10^th Grand Bamboo Tee Invitational , last weekend of November. This is the main and signature annual Club Invitational (member-guest) tournament; A 4-day, 36-hole major golf tournament to con-celebrate the historic 'Cry of Sta. Barbara' ; the Iloilo Governor will be special guest.
5. Year-end Thanksgiving Tournament, Club Championships and Century Awards Nite , Dec. 28-30, 2007
6. Publication and launching of Hard-bound Coffee-Table/Centenary Souvenir Book of the History of Iloilo Golf;
7. Golf Museum / Memorabilia Display Area launching
8. Other Centenary-Related Infrastructure
