How to get there:
Iloilo is found in the southeastern part of Panay Island which is part of the Western Visayas region. It is about 238 miles from Manila . Iloilo is 55 minutes by plane from Manila (9 flights daily serviced by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines ), 30 minutes from Cebu . If you want to travel by sea, Sulpicio Lines, Negros Navigation and Aboitiz have ships plying from Manila (12-18 hours), Cagayan De Oro City (16 hours), Zamboanga City (14 hours), Cotabato (26 hours), Bacolod (a 1 hour ferry service), and Guimaras (a 20-minute ferry pumpboat service).
The Iloilo Golf and Country Club is located in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, 16 km. north of Iloilo City (about 12-15 minutes from the City).
On our centenary year, 2007, Iloilo will open its new Airport of International Standards which is presently under construction in the boundary of Sta. Barbara and Cabatuan towns.
